from:larrybsp@aol.com (Larry Stark) Barry, That would be a no no! It is a performance enhancement that to the best of my knowledge is not specifically permitted in the rules. Andy Granatelli's 300 mph Bonneville Camaro had the car packed with dry ice around dual intercoolers. It added a minimum 100+ HP to 1000 HP engine. Now if you had a small intercooler that would fit in a 1 gallon gas cool can you could pull a Dwayne Komush and stretch the rules to the limit. No offense Dwayne. It was a compliment. Larry I'll try this again :>) Is it legal to have dry ice on top of the air intercooler while taking a run??? Charlie, is that more to the point ?? :>) Barry |
