255/40/17 Kumho's V700 will fit on 7.5" rims, but I think 245/40/17
Hoosier's will be even better choice (with exception of GGF of course).

I'm also curious how 350Z will do in our class. I guess it's only matter
of time before somebody will give it a serious try.

Boris (hopping that Santa will hear my pleas about new lightweight
wheels and new Hoosiers :-)

Definitely a top notch suspension, aluminum multi-link front and rear
with some massive swaybars, but will that be enough to challenge other
cars in it's class? Hard to say...

at least a 245, maybe a 255. ive had a 275 on an 17x8 rim and thats too
big. the better the suspension, the less tire it will need. too bad
its so
heavy.

Not at all, I really liked it. It's not stunningly wow on the street,
it'll
need a supercharger kit or somesuch for that, but it's an extremely
competent well balanced sports car for a great price. For AutoX, it's
got
power going to the right pair of wheels and a superb suspension, the
biggest
issue is weight (3200lbs for the base model, more like 3300 for the
touring
model) vs tire size (225s). How wide a Kumho can you fit on a 7.5x17
rim?

i read a review carl did of the car in july, and i got the impression of
thinly veiled boredom from his report. carl? maybe its hard to come
off a
boost addition? =)
