If you're paying cash you do not have to provide that info. Even when
buying an expensive car with a personal check or wire transfer, a
reputable dealer will NOT ask you to fill out a credit app or anything
like that. They already have all the info needed to track you down if
they need to.
Not all dealers require it so it's up to you to decide whether you want
to do business with them.
