Did you demand a recount?
I found the ballot confusing, and I ultimately ended up voting for all four.

Subject: SFR Election
Last evening, a small group of dedicated San Francisco Region members
conducted the annual ballot count (amid much laughter about our civil
counterparts in Florida <G>).
Total ballots cast: 1044 out of 4798 members, a 21.8% response.
The results:
Regional Executive:
R.J. Gordy 902 elected
No votes 142
Board of Directors (3 seats open):
David Allen 846 elected
Leslie Berry 812 elected (incumbent)
Tom McCarthy 603 elected (incumbent)

Kevin Rogers 592
Only 11 votes separated first-time candidate Rogers from a tie with
McCarthy, a 25+ year BoD member.
12 votes more for Rogers would have changed the direction of the region
dramatically.
3754 people did not vote. And that's one of the key reasons SF Region has
some of the problems it does.
