Well, I guess I should comment..seeing as I have an S4 now...
and had an A4 for 50,000 miles. According to my sources and
my experience, about 80% of Audi A4 braking is being done by
the front brakes. The only reason why the rear brakes would
wear out faster is if your wife has a propensity for forgeting
to take the emergency brake off. :-)
