More and more folks are stretching the rules IMHO. I'm just afraid of one
claiming all the boost came from computer tuning and exhaust (both of which
are free). I can't prove otherwise, and that's an issue. I don't mean per
car model, I mean have a set of rules for defining and controlling boost in
turbo cars.

I meant let them have say +2 psi over their stock boost setting (whatever
that is for car X, add 2). Alternate maps could still get them by
inspection, which is something I don't have an answer for. My hope would
be that being allowed to add a set amount of boost would deter the want for
more..... Blind, I know but I deep down believe in most folks. :-)

Stock boost would be whatever the manufacturer's limit is by the service
manual....... Just the way it is now.

Fuel cuts are not currently allowed to be changed. Something to consider,
but in my experience you have to overboost by a pretty good amount to have
it interfere. IMHO a fuel cut is a boost controlling device, however it's
also computer and fuel related. If we could figure a way out to keep folks
from cheating and overboosting that much, it wouldn't be an issue.
