Runoffs was incredibly expensive to air live. Extra to the way it
is done now: Uplink truck, Satellite time, staffing for live at
the site and at master control, live record ops off site (and
maybe on). As I remember I think the cost was close to a million
a day (three days live). Granted posting later cuts the costs
considerably. Good think you didn't go off the deep end about
this. :^)
