Chris,
It has always been SCCA policy for Solo II Stock classes that all parts
of an equipment package must be in place for the "benefticial" part to be
on the car (in this case wheels). Just because some other iteration of
the same car has those wheels doesn't allow a person to put them on his
car if he doesn't have the whole trim package that includes them.
Since I'm more familiar with Corvettes, a non-Z06 Corvette can't run Z06
wheel dimensions in Stock as an example. This is exactly the same
scenario you are talking about with the 350Z.
