The Old Dominion was a separate club based in southwest and central
Virginia, primarily Roanoke and Lynchburg. It operated up until the 70s.
It was primarily an autocross and rally club. The autocrosses were small
events and rising insurance costs began to make the costs prohibitive.
Since many of the members were also SCCA members, they decided to roll the
club into the Blue Ridge Region of the SCCA. We still have quite a number
of members that were OD members.
Sorry about the late reply but I was out of town and couldn't get hold of
some of the old-timers to get the information.

I think Old Dominion is a Region of SCCA. Although this is not an
autocrossing question per se, I have to believe there are people on
autox@autox.team.net who will know the answer to this.
