I don't have as much money as some of my competitors. Is it the
sanctioning body's responsibility to level that as well?
Rules should be chosen to both level the playing field as well as not
inconvience competitors overmuch. Many folks have weighed in and said
that weighing with driver would be a PITA for two driver cars, something
that is a staple of autocrossing. You don't have to agree, of course.
I also wonder about the "minority" statement above. Even if its true
(afterall, 49% is still a "minority"), so what? This "burden" that you're
so up in arms about seems to me to be a pretty minor thing.

You seem to be one of the only people that isn't clear on what's in the
book right now. Suggest clarifications if you'd like, but at least
recognize that most of us are fine with what's there right now. Saying
that the rules "aren't clear or properly written" is patently untrue, at
least for most of us.
