I've ordered all 4 sets of my tires from tirerack.com's secure web-order
form. My last set of tires were shipped the next day. That way, it takes
out the phone-salesperson-computer chain and means if there's an error, it's
because I typed it in wrong on the order form.
The only time there was a slight delay was when I ordered 245/45r16 instead
of the stock 225/50r16 and they called to make sure I knew that was a
different size.
I wish all companies were as good as the Tire Rack when it comes to
mail-order or web-order.
