Consider too though that this is a car with with the tuning parts on it,
that was tested against other stock cars. In other words, how much of that
performance could be gained with a Protege using Tokicos, upgraded tires,
etc or is you slapped upgraded parts on the Miata or MR2. Since the car
comes with those bits on it, it may not get the dramatic improvement in
performance one might get with other stock cars. But some of those cars
should be pretty "prepped" out of the box. Hmmmm....
That is an interesting result, specially the fastest time around Willow
Springs. I can't imagine it's the 'big track' at Willow Springs, since my
130hp car spent most of the time in wide open throttle around that, I was
definitely needing more hp. But Streets of Willow maybe. Regardless, that is
damn impressive if accurate. Maybe this is the car my daughter wants to
drive. :)
