Weren't the 69-72 Mopar Hemi E- and B- bodies able to break the high 13s
even with those old bias-ply tires?
Obviously the altered wheelbase A-bodies we're in the 13s in stock form,
but didn't you have to be a 'licensed' drag racer to even talk to Ma Mopar
about getting one? That would make the likelyhood of seeing one on the
street very slim.
Still, with all this talk about fast drag times, I'd really hate to see one
of those altered A-bodies try an autoX. :-)
