I've been to the Monocoque shop as well the Bogart (They are on opposite
sides
of the same driveway in an industrial park). Bogart makes some of the parts
for Monocoque.
Both are excellent wheels. I've watched the spinning process in action and
if you ever get the
chance you will understand how they get them that light.
Don't get too worried about the last ounce of wheel weight. Remember, the
tire weighs as
much as or more than the wheel and its weight is all on the maximum diameter
as opposed to
being toward the center of the total mass. Tire weight will have a MUCH more
drastic flywheel
effect than the same amount of weight on a wheel center or even in the bead
area.

aluminum wheel for a 5 lug Mustang fitment. I was suprised it was this light
and isn't made of magnesium, carbon fiber or something else exotic.
