In response:
1) This fund is to supplement the work (not replace it) already being done by
the MTAA who stated in the town hall meeting that they just spent $16,000 in
repairing the surface and removing loose rocks.
2) $10 per entrant for the Nationals and the National Tours and the Pro
Solo's should generate over $20,000 - this in addition to the MTAA's $16,000
should significantly improve our situation.
3) The bumps are the number one problem - cutting/beveling them will go a
long way toward helping the problem. The secondary problem is the breaking
up of the surface - this takes less money to patch and most (but not all) of
the patches are holding up so far.
