I sent this to another person on Team.net....
Kinda proof that the Neon has gotten slower because drivers have gotten
slower and it needs to get classed where it CAN perform not HAS perfom since
the Neon money went away.
======================
In 97 DS beat ES and GS at every National Tour
On average the top 5 drivers in DS beat ES and GS.
In 98 from the 3 events on the web...
ES won once by 0.6 The other two events 5.5 drivers beat ES
In 99 (last year for Neon money)
On average the top 4 DS cars beat ES. The closest ES came was .09 in
Evansville
In 2000 No more Dadio or Neon $$$
ES and DS are right on top of each other. The new Celica with little
development gets 2 wins.
In 2001 ES
ES and DS again are close. ES probably being a little better. # of New
Celica wins 0
Whats all this mean?
DS is getting slower, because The cars that are predominantly winning ES are
cars that have equal if not better development then the Neon (Celica ST,
Honda CRX)
When the Neon was beating HS and ES it was more then just Daddio doing it.
Typically the top 5 or 6 in DS were doing it.
The car has the potential to dominate the class. It has before in the past
if you work the numbers. Therefore it should stay in DS.
