Well I dunno about that. I'd spend a few dollars to make sure your car is
in tip-top mechanical condition. Fresh oil, plugs, good bearings, battery
is properly fastened down, seat belt works, brakes work and have fresh
fluid, etc.
Beyond that I'd spend the money on event entry fees. And above all else,
except for safety, have fun.
