Ahh.. I just saw the tire you're talking about. Looks like old tech! And,
with that 120 treadwear, just barely misses the cutoff for STS.
If you're looking at 205/50r15, I would really consider the $56 Pirelli
P700Z. 140 Treadwear and probably a really nice handling tire. The P7000
is $84 and probably not too bad either.
The Potenza RE010's are probably nice too... but for the price, I wouldn't
look past the P700Z. Wish I could get a tire that nice for that price! I
have to buy 225/50r16... and those A022's would be either my gas for a year,
or food for a half a year.
I'm trying to decide between the AVSi or the less grippy Kumho 712. I'd
love to support Kumho, but I just don't think I would like their tire. I've
heard from people that they squeal when pushed hard. I hated that with my
old Eagle F1's.
