I have a couple items for sale that may be of interest to the readership.
For Sale - Well Used, High Performance Street Tires (4). Bridgestone RE-010,
size 195/55-15. These are original equipment on the Integra Type R.
Replacement cost is over $150 per tire. The inside edge is pretty well worn
down, (toe out and negative camber will do that), although that should not be
a problem for autocross purposes. Overall tread is worn down to perhaps 1/3 of
its original depth (not quite to the wear bars). As far as street tires go,
these are said to be pretty sticky, although I have never autocrossed them or
abused them on the street. FWIW, a fellow G-Stocker who has run them on an
autocross course feels that they are a GREAT tire to have for STS. The tread
rating is 140. $150 for the set.
For Sale - Comptec, axle-back exhaust. Fits 98 Integra Type R (possibly other
Integras/Hondas, but no guarantees). Stainless steel. Polished chrome tip.
Excellent condition. Was only on the car from August 2000 through February
2001 in New Mexico (not much rain, not much snow, and NO road salt!). Very
nice sound at idle, around town, and at full throttle, but a bit loud during
12 hour, 85 MPH highway blasts to places like San Diego and Topeka. Cost $350
new, asking $250.
