I can't remember the last time I saw the
wire-wheel based piece.
Looking at the February issue of 'SportsCar', the
inside cover has 10 winning cars from the Runoffs,
and not one wire wheel logo.
The title page (4) also has none - in fact a fast pass through
the entire magazine found not one wire wheel.
Clearly the hollow block letters and the lettering similar
to the rectangular stickers used in Club Racing, Pro Racing,
Solo II and Rally are by far the predominant logo in use.
So the discussion about the wire wheel logo is in keeping with
the finest traditions of Team 'Net, right?

Well, of course you didn't see my car featured in any of the SportsCar
issues. I did however have one of the "Wirewheel" logos on the front end of
my March last year.
That was before the "Offroad adventure" last year at Salina in April. After
that day about all that remained of the front of my car was the logo. I still
think its
cool. Its about remembering what it was like back in the early days. You know
back
in the days before a Neon or an Acura was called a "SportsCar"
