I run Stock. I do understand the time and money involved in building a
competitive SP car. I don't have either in sufficient quantities, nor do I
have the funds available to buy a new ride every so often. Consequently, I run
CS or whatever it will be called under the new class structure (newest car
classed there is 5 years old).
I see your point, but ANY form of motorsports costs money. And unless you're
in a spec class of some sort, you do have the opportunity to be rendered
uncompetitive by other machinery.
If you're worried about taking a significant hit when you sell your car, you
could always restore it to stock condition and sell your go-fast parts
separately. I actually know someone who did this.
This will be my final post on this subject. Really. I promise.
