You guys slay me.  I never wrote that it is easy to "be" (1) fast in mod
cars.   (1:A term that compares the driver's times in relation to the top
dogs in the class.)  Just that it's easier to go faster in a machine that's
specifically designed to just that, go fast.  Far fewer "slow" compromising
parts/features to deal with and/or have to work around.   Any Mod car had
damn well better go faster than my piddly Stock Class grocery getter or
either the car or the driver _really_ suck.  ;^)

I know tons of folks that are faster than me no matter what they drive, even
when they're in "slower" cars.  I also know some folks who are faster than
me simply because they bought/built a faster car, not necessarily because
they're a better driver.

Simply yanking and cranking the steering wheel quicker does not one a better
driver make.  Faster, perhaps.

Prove me wrong.  Loan me a CM car for a year.  ;^)
