Well, its good to know he's alright, and I assume his car received the
minimal damage you could expect from a rollover.
If that was the worst thing to happen out of almost 1100 cars, I'd say that
is pretty good.
Since I'm a newbie to autox and this is the first nat's I've followed, does
anyone have any good stories or occurrences from previous nat's? Or could I
go look in the archives? They don't have to necessarily be bad
occurrences....
The coolest story I have is one of the guys I was racing in ESP with last
year has his alternator go out in his 88 Firebird at a tri-state event
(MS/AR/TN) and after the 1st heat, his car was pretty much dead. Between
1st and 2nd heats he charged up his battery and 3 of the ESP guys helped
push his car up to the line and he ended up winning ESP in close competition
with a Mustang. Of course, he beat me by 3-5 seconds, but it was still
great fun.
