Look for "helicopter tape" in the advertisements in Trade-A-Plane. You'll
probably find a copy of that laying around at the FBO at your local airport
(look
for a pilots' lounge). I've seen Trade-A-Plane in some Barnes&Noble stores,
but
not in my locality. Helicopter tape is the protective tape/film used on the
leading edges of helicopters' rotor blades. Its made to be easily replaced
without harming the finish on the blade. You might try Aircraft Spruce
1.800.895.4552 as a potential source of supply. But there are probably cheaper
sources if you look. The local FBO orders it from similar sources and doubles
the price for resale.
