Phil,
I hope your 'adventure' in the TR4 is a plesant one. I've had good and bad
in a Triumph.
Be sure to bring LOTS of sunscreen, and a cool attitude. You'll need both.
106 yesterday (Friday) here in College Station, Tx. (3 hours east of San
Antonio).
BTW down here, if you ask for directions you'll be told how many hours it is
to your destination. Add 25% to what they tell you. All distances are
estimated at persuit speed.
I also recomend you try Shiner Bock Beer while you're in Texas.
