Dan Maloney here in AZ has M Coupe with all the goodeies: JRZ
triples, chrash bolts, you name it, it has it. I do not think it can beat a
vette. In fact Dan just got a C5 hardtop and in his first event in a bone
stock car he was closer to the top of SS than he has ever been in the M
coupe ever. The Flecthers drove this car at our Divisonal and faired good
for the first time in the car, but if the car was any kind of threat to a
Vette Rich would have whooped us.

How about Ultra-Stock (US)?
If it doesn't work we cn alweays call it Undersubscribed-Stock :-)
<<Class 2 SS, In a close race I'd take the Boxster S over the C4 and S2000>>
I think you're greatly underestimating what a fully prepared BMW M coupe is
capable of, nobody has done it yet. John Ames effort was 100% factory
stock.
<< Class 4, BS, New Miata vs MR Spyder vs MR2 S/C, cool!>>
Mr2 S/C???? No way, Jose...not a snowball's chance in Alabama :-)
<< Do the current GS Honda Prelude's go into Class 5 or 8? Anyone else
we're missing? >>
That's a good question.
