You are dating yourself, I think. The donkey gang is still the
Democratic-Farmer-Labor party. The elephant crowd has stopped calling
themselves the Independent-Republican party because they finally figured out
how ridiculous we all thought it was. Meanwhile, the Reform Party in
Minnesota is trying to, well, re-form, after Jessie and his bunch renamed
themselves the Independence Party (which they were named before alignment
with the short-Texas-billionaire's folks) and got to keep all the party
money and the major-party status.
