Karts and insurance...show me da' money...

So, we've heard another round of proof by vigorous
assertion that karts are a risk to our insurance,
sites, and general well being.

Presumably, our insurers are clever enough to know
this, and additional risk would be reflected in higher
premiums.

Has anyone had their event insurance cost raised to
cover karts?

If not, let's pick another topic to blather on... :)
