Another option, since your car is pretty light, is to
try a narrower tire.  With the width of the contact
patch on your 265-section Kumhos, you're probably
needing such low pressures because you can't get
enough heat into them.

Also, if you go to, say, a 245/45-16 tire, you'd see
better acceleration due to the tire being shorter,
although I doubt this is much of a problem with a
Cobra.  But I'd try narrower tires before trying
anything too radical with the suspension.
