After covering many miles last year (No Pro's in the
central US, closest was 900mi.) Here are a couple of
tips..
Tow faster - try to average 65 w/stops for
food/gas/bathrooms.
Travel the night before your day off (Thur. night-Fri
morning are my normal times)
Recruit a tow rig co-driver who can stay awake ;)
Get into the challenge - your run/$ ratio goes up
dramatically.
Consider the drive time as practice laps :) (you guys
driving stock cars to the event can do this.
It really is more fun than it sounds! The 12K miles I
towed last year ar just a fuzzy blur now.
