Umm, the stated $1500 limit is for parts only.  Any used parts must have a
"fair" value assigned to them as do any parts that you already have sitting
around.  Any labor that the owner does is considered a freebie regardless of
whether the owner is little ol'  you or I all the way up to a full-on body
shop and race car fabrication kinda guy with all the neato tools.  I'd like
to see what guys like Pete & Jake could build for a "$1500" car.

There was also a clause about a reasonable "builders fee" in addition to the
$1500 "claim" rule.

Good luck on the buyout offer.  That Spridget does look quite nice for
"just" $1500.  Hmm, I though most British cars would've required that much
just in replacement sheet metal.  ;^)
