~~this option has been out there on some higer line vehicles since the late
60's, in 1990 I bought a 1984 Buick Riviera T-Type (Turbo 3.8 Litre engine,
same as the Grand National, rare and cool!) it was equiped with the "twilight
sentenial" (GM option name) and every day someone would say "you've left your
lights on" it got annoying but at least people were nice enough to say
something.
