This raises an interesting question for me...Isn't the simple fact that
you've welded in a chassis reinforcement a problem if you're installing
a cage? Welding in chassis supports aren't legal, so it becomes a matter
of interpretation of the mounting/reinforcing plate. Does it (the plate)
contribute to a stiffer chassis if the cage is removed? Hmm, I wonder
how I can get a roll bar welded in so I can reinforce my trailing arm
mounts... just kidding...:-)
