Look at what happened to the Taurus SHO.  At first it only came in a stick.
Later it only came in an automatic.  But then again, that's a Taurus (albeit
a rather fast one...)

Sounds like the guy's idea of a performance car is a '69 Chevy Nova SS.
Which is an excellent performance vehicle for what it is - a straight line
behemoth.  But don't ask it to turn!!!  I always wanted to try my fiance's
old '71 Nova at an autox just to see how bad it would be, but I digress...
The funniest thing to me is that all the minuses he cited are pluses in my
book!
