If the Miata in DP has a weight penalty for using the 1800cc motor, can the 
1.8L motor be de-bored through a sleeve to achieve a 1600cc displacement?  
The 1.8L motor is similar but not the same as a 1.6L, primarily the bore 
spacing is larger and the head ports are larger for the 1.8L.  A 1.8 has a 
83x85 bore and stroke (1839cc) while the 1.6 has a 78x83.6 (1597cc).  If I 
sleeve a 1.8 motor down to a 78mm bore I get 1622cc but still bet the longer 
stoke 85mm crank and the larger head ports.
