Al, I don't think you can measure what it will take to beat Maderash in
terms of dollars. Although well developed, the absence of "high tech"
parts and technology is obvious. Mark has spent countless hours in seat
time developing the car to it's current state.
Same is true with Kurt Janish's National title winning CP Camaro. It was
interesting to see folks swarming his car following his win, looking for
something that may have given him an advantage. Simply put, there is no
high tech pieces in the car other than a strong motor, some bracing here
and there, roll cage, etc. No high dollar struts or shocks, not even
adjustable pieces, and stock springs. Another example of a guy doing it
all himself with blood, sweat, and talent...
