this whole discussion smells much like the one for moving the 1st gen
miatas out of B-stock.  people whining the newer models were much faster
due to better engine, brakes, suspension and the older ones would not be
competitive (despite event results that say otherwise).  I'd say to the
C4 drivers....write your letters!  it worked for the miata crowd, it
should work for anyone else too.
