I'm using SS/Fs on my '99 TransAm and really like them. They stop quite
a bit better than the stock pads did and they handle heat MUCH better.
My brakes do squeal, but not badly, and I'm still thinking that it's
because I didn't do some things right since other owners have told me
that they have no squeal at all. I paid something like $110 shipped
(I only have them on the front) and I didn't find that price hard to
swallow at all. I have the stock pads on the rear, but that's because
of the rear brake bias that my car has.
