Video camera for autox?

Anyone got any recomendations for a video camera primarily for autox use?

Does this steady shot stuff work to take out road vibrations?

Any of these video cameras double as a digital still shot camera to take
.jpgs?

Any cameras that work well with wide angle stuff?

Any other advice?
