Dumb newbie classification/pax question

Okay, so the 93+ Supra runs in Super Stock.

Moving into street prepared, the Supra goes to ESP.

But the PAX multiplier for ESP is LESS than the multiplier for SS.

Do Supras get slower when you modify them?  Or am I confused on the
meaning of PAX?
