I like them both for normal street use. The P8000e series is better (ulw is best but disc.). The Dunlops are very quiet, great in the wet, wear well, and last a long time; the 71's are an older design, but still a decent tire. Neither is really up to task for autocrossing competetively (flame suit on). I've used both and they are at least 2 sec. off in a 60 sec. course from an R-tire. I would advise going to the full tread Kumho. But I sure miss the RE-71stu/r's. Erik |
