Speaking of Palm Pilots, while I was at the BFG Spec. Racer Ford tire testing
at Roebling Road, the BFG engineers used Palm Pilots to record ALL the data
they take. They had the temp probe interfaced to the Palm Pilot and would
take the tire temps in a specified order. The temps were auto stored in the
Palm Pilot. The BFG engineer didn't seem to want to tell me much about the
system when I asked, but he did say that they used 'public' program which
one of their guys had modified.
Besides taking the temps., they could also input tire pressures with notations,
and the drivers comments about the tires.
All in all, way kool stuff.

I'd love to tell you how it works, but since I'm still waiting patiently for
the Palm Pilot software.....
