That's right,
MTI Racing is having an open house and Dyno Day at it's Atlanta based
headquarters this Saturday the 10th of April. We will have an assortment of
food and refreshments out all day for your enjoyment. There was also a rumor
that there might just be a GM celebrity making an appearance ;-)
This is a very rare opportunity for a Corvette enthusiast to get a
glimpse inside the workings of a Professional Racecar Fabrication shop.
Normally the MTI Race shop is closed to all visitors, but this Saturday
you will be able to view THREE different C5 World Challenge Racecars in
various states of completion. You will see 2 of the factory built chassis
supplied by GM to MTI Racing, one of them is untouched! You will also see
the nearly completed and already partially tested #97 C5 that Scotty B White
will drive during the 99 season.
It will be a great opportunity to meet and talk with Reese Cox, the C.E.O
of MTI Atlanta and 1998 Rookie of the Year in World Challenge. Reese will be
available to talk
about MTI Racing's Assault on the 99 SCCA Pro Racing Speedvision World
Challenge series. Reese Cox and Scotty B White will contest all 10 races in
World Challenge in equally prepared C5 Corvettes. All races will be
televised on Speedvision and Fox Sports.
After you've learned all you want to know about World Challenge, strap
your car to the brand new DynoJet Chassis Dyno and learn what your car can
do! MTI Atlanta will be doing Dyno pulls all day long for a mere $65 per
car. C'mon by and say HOWDY!
