Alex,

      I'll take a stab a this. The rule of thumb here is that ALL race tires
are sold WITHOUT warrentee. It is possible that your friend ran over something
on the track causing the tire to come apart. ( Happens in NASCAR all the time)
You may want to give the gals at BFG I call just for the hell'vea it at
1-800-race-bfg.
