Hey, ignore the weather forcasts. It never rains in California...
Today was an incredible day, balmy clear blue skies, temps in the mid
70s. I see no reason why it should change. Latest forecasts indicate
only a partial chance of rain. Bring sunscreen instead.
Did the phase II MaKamey school today, with the most excellent
instruction from Joe Goeke and Tom Kotzian. I think G.H. Sharp and SBW
did the Phase 1 next door. Very interesting stuff. Very mentally
tiring...specially for those of us with "limited resources". Tom did not
hit any seagulls today.
It looks like there are quite a few entrants in the San Diego Tour..I
heard 280+ today. The course looks to be about 1.1 miles long (woohoo!)
and very fast..a lot of third gear for my MR2. Most excellent! Kumho
Tires is here with their support semi. Tech was (as expected!) very
efficient and well fueled with grilled fajitas.
