Steve,
As I understand it St1 is now a offical class in all regional, national,
and divisional events. Look At Meridian *NATIONAL* tour results Oh my
there is an ST1 class.. this class is not run @ the national
Championship, My opinion on that is anyone who is willing to run at the
National Championship should be serious enough to purchase R-eal tires..
I personally run R compound on the street for Most of the summer anyway,
for example Kumho tires for my car are $130 full depth shipped I can
drive on these on the street and be happy for about 6000 miles of street
and auto-x, The MXX3's that came on my car are like $230 shipped a
peice and only last 10,000 miles of street and auto-x I do the math and
get better gripier tires for less money per mile. if I was forced to use
Street tires I would have to purchase the Micheliens or G-force KD to be
compeditive because they are the Hott street tire... and spend more
money.. NO THANKS
Jeff

true competition lies outside ones own small pool. Maybe it would be
good to keep the stock classes on street tires to help keep costs down.
Let SP and above run stickies.
