Hello Matt Murray! This is Adam again. If Speedvision knows about
autocrossing and they have a picture of you on playback. You should keep
on pushing autocrossing being on television.
I think we should get somebody who has a lot of money on their side
that autocrosses and see if he or she would like to see autocrossing on
big time television. If that person says yes, then with that person we
should start a promotion team and promote autocrossing on videotape to
any advertiser out there so that we could get the advertisers to buy us
some air time. If the advertisers think dog shows or fishing can sell on
TV, then I would think that autocrossing could do the same or even
better. Heck, I have a whole bunch of video of my brother Daniel in a
1972 corvette that amazes people. I have incar shots, shots of him
getting sideways, leaving blacktracks, spinning out and I have video of
him winning National Championships. I also have a lot of footage of
other great drivers and cars in autocrossing. I think just footage of my
brother would amaze advertisers and make them think about buying airtime
for us. To some people watching autocross is boring but If you promote
it in an exciting way with different shots and different camera angles I
think it would sell. So that's my opinion. If this idea doesn't work
then I will can the Solo II talk on TV talk for now. That's it for now.
