WOOHOO!!!! My new Konis arrived via UPS today. Looks like I'll be
bloodying a few knuckles this weekend tring to install them.
They are of course the yellow aftermarket Konis with the camber adjustment
slot which is Stock Class illegal on my non-ACR Neon.
Several folks suggested welding a washer over the camber adjustment slot to
make it the same size hole as the stock non-camber adjustable struts and
then of course utilize the "crash bolts" to regain some negative camber.
Silly, huh.
Question: Am I gonna get protested and DSQ'd by some schmoe at the Divs or
Nats because of this? By welding the washer over the adjustment slot I will
be returning the range of camber adjustment back to factory specs for my
particular Neon.
Of course I could always just paint 'em black and call them Chrysler parts
but that would be less than honest.
See you on course.

Take a ton of bolt and steel
A whole lotta sweat, a set of wheels.....On the Speedway.
The flag is down, pistons pound
Plenty of engines ripping around......On the Speedway.
