When I rebuilt My Tiga back in 1997 I replaced the radiator.
I took it to a local radiator shop to ask if they could make me a new
one. They told me that my radiator was a heater core from 1971-73
GM school bus. A special frame had been built to hold it. They
simply disassembled the frame put in the new heater core and
put it back together again. It worked great, cooled fine and didn't
fall apart. I think the heater core will work fine.
