gas smell

Guys

Do most of you smell gas in your garages from your Alpines?  That is to say,
is it expected?  If not, is it most likely a fuel tank problem?  Has anyone
gone to a fuel cell for safety and smell.  For the record, the smell doesn't
bother me, but the wife doesn't like it!
